1. Keep your air conditioning service clean.

2. Clean or change the filter.

Each air conditioning unit has a filter. Its purpose is to protect the mechanical parts in the unit and to make the air cleaner in your office or home. When the filter is dirty the system has to work harder and so is less efficient resulting in a higher energy bill. If your unit is equipped with an electrostatic filter, it will have to be cleaned. But if your system has a fibreglass or paper filter, this is the type that needs to be replaced.
